Ratmerice chateau is located direction south, approx. 60 min from Prague. Chateau is surrounded by a lovely park. All kind of ceremonies are available on request. Ceremony can be held outside in the garden, at the church next to the chateau or inside the chateau. The restaurant has capacity of approx. 50 guests, the terrace of the restaurant around 100 guests and chateau hall can accommodate around 120 guests. Ratmerice offers 16 dbl rooms and 6 apartments.

The Palace was originally built in the middle of the 16th century by Jaroslav of Pernstejn & his brother Vratislav, High Chancellor of Bohemia. After the Battle of the White Mountain in 1620, the Lobkowicz family stood at the forefront of Central European politics & culture for the next 300 years. The castle was confiscated by the Communists in 1952 from Prince Maximilian Lobkowicz. Max was a friend and supporter of Thomas Masaryk (President of Czechoslovakia) and his son, Jan Masaryk (Foreign Minister) and became Czechoslovak Ambassador to Great Britain during World War II. The Lobkowicz Palace was returned to the Roudnice Lobkowicz family in 2003 under the restitution laws of 1991.

A Neo-Renaissance building on Slavonic Island, it acquired its present appearance in 1886, and was restored in 1992 – 1994. Traditional place where important social and cultural events are held, provides an exclusive environment for wedding receptions and offers exquisite services. The Strahov Monastery started its long itinerary through history with establishment of the Premonstratensians, a religious order of canons founded in 1120 by St Norbert as an independent part of the Catholic church. After the Communist regime ended, the abbey was returned to the Premonstratensians in 1989. The Strahov Monastery it is not only an active place of pilgrimage but also a valuable museum and a famous library, still holding an unbelievable number of rare volumes.

St. Vitus’s Cathedral is the largest and the most important church in Prague. Apart from divine services the coronations of Czech kings and queens also took place in it. The remains of provincial patron saints, sovereigns, noblemen and archbishops are interred here. The importance of the cathedral grew especially after the establishment of the Prague bishopric in 973 and the founding of the body of canons – the St. Vitus chapter. The cathedral was solemnly consecrated in 1929. Its interior was subjected to adaptations even in later years.

Vrtbovska garden, a unique architectonic gem, is accessible from Karmelitska street at Lesser Town in Prague. Garden is one of the most important baroque garden of Prague. As part of the Vrtbov Palace, the garden makes for a pleasant spot in which to take a stroll during a tour of Mala Strana. Laid out to the design of Frantisek Maximilian in the early 18th century, garden’s courtyard features a number of fine statues by Matthias Braun, opening out with a Sala Terrena featuring mythological scenes by the renowned Czech Baroque artist V. Richter Villa (a classicist summerhouse from 1836) is an integral part of the St Wenceslas Vineyard, which dominates the area above the Old Castle Steps. The whole complex of the St Wenceslas Vineyard and Richter Villa is rounded off by a panorama of Prague Castle. Wedding ceremonies either in the vineayrd or at the restaurant are very unique and create and unforgetable atmosphere with an amazing view.

Troja Chateau is a grandiose 17th century affair, complete with French gardens, Baroque sculptures, splendid vaulted ceilings and a wonderfully detailed mural in its Grand Hall. The chateau’s most prominent feature, an overblown external staircase, leads from its main entrance to the formal French gardens below. Inside, the Chateau’s richly decorated interior sets the scene for what is undoubtedly the highlight of any tour – the Grand Hall. Painted from floor to ceiling, the room is a gushing tribute to the Hapsburg Dynasty, with frescoes depicting the triumph of Emperor Leopold I’s forces over the ‘infidel’ Turks.

Anna Franziska of the Palatinate had this Baroque country house built prior to 1720; it was finished in 1725. Apart from the main hall, the most significant room is the sala terrena underneath. The grottoes on the ground floor have fountains with sculptural decoration in the shape of Hercules, water deities, sea monsters and angels. In 1764 the house was altered in Rococo style and further building alterations were made to the house and greenhouse in the garden. During a Neo-Baroque reconstruction the upper floor was raised, and pavilions appeared at the end of the Baroque arcade corridor, as well as a new portico. Please note only ceremonies can be inside, receptions in the garden.

The castle is located east of Prague in a small town of less than 1000 inhabitants called Skvorec. The castle in Skvorec first appears in archives in 1279 when the Domoslav began the construction. Wedding ceremonies of all type are available on request. Ceremony can be held outside in garden or at the chapel. Garden can be used for around 150 people, back-up option is inside hall. The very first topographical mention of our site appeared in written sources about 1336under the name given by its then-holders, the Bavarians from Strakonice, Bavorov Lhota. Bavorov Lhota belonged to Pičín estate, which Bavorov has been holding since 1289. During the 17th century the fortress was rebuilt into a Baroque castle. In the 18th century, a French garden was built on the slope behind the castle. Bechyně’s chateau was held with the estate until the end of the 18th century, when they were forced to sell it to the Benedictines at St. Nicholas in the Old Town of Prague.

St. Thomas church was constructed by the Benedictines along with the chapel of St. Dorothy in 1228. In 1285 when Vaclav II was in power, a new Order called Ordo eremitarum sancti Augustini (Order of St. Augustine’s Hermits) settled in the church on the king’s invitation. The biggest reconstruction of the monastery area began in 1550 and was completed during the 30-year war. In the Rudolfine age, the monastery became an important spiritual centre for all catholic members of the empire. During the 18th century, the church and the convent gained the appearance they have today.

The Prague Crossroads, an international spiritual centre, is one of the projects of Dagmar and Václav Havel Foundation VIZE 97, which is also intended to preserve and administer this unique space. Prague Crossroads is located in a long-deconsecrated church, founded by St Wenceslas in 927 A.D. Current St. Nicholas church, designed by Kilian Ignaz Dientzenhofer, was completed in 1735. It wasn't until 1901, when the Krenn House was demolished that the Baroque façade was visible from the older square. The white façade is decorated with sculptures made by Antonin Braun. The marvellous interior of the church is inspired by the chapel of St. Louis-des-invalides in Paris. The delicate stucco decoration was executed by Bernardo Spinetti, the frescos were made by Peter Adam the Elder. Hluboka castle is situated 11 km from Ceske Budejovice in Hluboka nad Vltavou (approx. 3 hours driving from Prague), surrounded with the beautiful landscape of South Bohemia, a region with eventful history. The town of Hluboka nad Vltavou is famous for its charming Hluboka castle, now beautifully illuminated at night. The castle was built in the second half of the 13th century, originally as a royal Gothic castle. In the late 16th century Hluboka was rebuilt in the Renaissance style and in 1721-28 in the Baroque style. Its today’s Neo-Gothic look dates back to the reconstruction in 1841-1871. Valtice a small town and amazing chateau in Moravia, approx. 2,5 hours from Prague. It belongs to the Lednice-Valtice area, complex of beautiful nature, historical buildings and of course wine everywhere. Valtice Chateau was the family seat of the Lords of Liechtenstein, Lednice Chateau was their summer residence, which replaced an earlier fort in the early 17th century. Large house was built 100 years ago by Antonín Řepa. He planned to expand his agricultural activities in Miskovice, but communist regime that came soon did not support it. All family had to leave the house and famr was taken away. Fortunatelly was given back to the family on 90´s and large reconstruction began back in 2020. There is lovely garden, barn and smaller hall as a ceremony back-up.

After King John of accorded the citizens of Prague the privilege of having their own district council in 1338, they decided to build a Town hall, paid for by a duty levied on wine. The almost 70 meters high tower was completed in 1364. The first clock of the Town hall dates back to the beginning of the 15th century. Clock maker Hanus, who perfectioned the construction in 1490 was – according to the legend – made blind by the city council to prevent him from a more beautiful clock elsewhere. Šlechtova restaurant is originally the Royal Hall from 1689-1691. The large hall was adorned with frescoes by Jan Jakub Steinfels depicting Apollo, Venus and Cupid, and other legendary scenes. A hundred years later, the building was rebuilt as a garden restaurant by František Antonín Herget, and again in 1855 in the neo-Gothic style by Bernard Grueber. In 1882 the restaurant was rented out by Václav Šlechta (hence the name), who ran it until the outbreak of World War II. His business prospered and it became an unmissable refreshments spot for anyone taking a Sunday stroll. In the postwar period, the “Šlechtovka” became dilapidated, through socialist economic stewardship, and several fires.

The original estate comes from early 19´s. The present owner, the great-granddaughter also borrowed money for the purchase of the second half of the homestead and she wishes the only thing: that people would feel happy there again. Clam-Gallas Palace in the Old Town of Prague ranks among the most prominent architectural monuments of Prague. One of the prime works of Prague Baroque architecture, it is a splendid example of historical housing and the lifestyle of then aristocrats. The palace is situated on a large construction site comprised of a four-wing Baroque building around the central square courtyard. In the axis of Karlova Street, it is connected with the entrance tower-shaped avant-corps, the staircase tower near the north-eastern corner, and the eatern wing near the rear wings of houses that constitute the western front of Malé Square. The Church of Mother of God before Týn (in Czech Kostel Matky Bozi pred Tynem, also Tynsky chram), often translated as Church of Our Lady before Tyn, is a dominant feature of the Old Town of Prague, and has been the main church of this part of the city since the 14th century. The church’s towers are 80 m high and topped by four small spires. The early baroque altarpiece has paintings by Karel Skreta from around 1649. The oldest pipe organ in Prague stands inside this church. The organ was built in 1673 by Heinrich Mundt and is one of the most representative 17th-century organs in Europe.

Gabriel Loci is a unique place in Prague 5, near the Kinsky Garden. The area of Saint Gabriel Monastery was built in the Neo-Romanesque style. This unique building, created in 1888–1891, features rare artistic decoration in the style of the Beuron Art School. The area includes the Neo-Romanesque Church of the Annunciation with fascinating paintings.

Original area of the French restaurant was, based on architectural design, renovated in the spirit of Czech restaurant, which offers fine Czech cuisine. In the restaurant, which seats up to 120 guests in the inside restaurant and 80 guests in the terraces, you can enjoy traditional Czech dishes. Building of Manes Gallery was built on the site of the former Šítkovské mills in the years 1928 – 1930. This is a functionalist building complex that serves as an exhibition space and a restaurant. The restaurant is decorated with frescoes ceiling made by Emil Filla and the construction itself was financially supported by the president Tomas Garrigue Masaryk.

In the northeastern corner of Staré Mesto is the former Convent of St Agnes, Prague’s oldest surviving Gothic building, now restored and used by the National Gallery. The first-floor rooms hold the National Gallery’s permanent collection of medieval art from Bohemia and Central Europe. The complex consists mainly of the cloister, a sanctuary and a church in French Gothic style. The graves of St Agnes and of Wenceslas I’s Queen Cunegund are in the Chapel of the Virgin Mary in the Sanctuary of the Holy Saviour. Alongside this is the smaller Church of St Francis, where Wenceslas I is buried. Part of its ruined nave and other rooms have been rebuilt as a chilly concert hall.

The interiors have preserved a number of baroque- and neo-classical style halls, including the notable Theresian Hall with its magnificent ceiling frescoes. Combined with the adjacent Abbey Refectory, Pompeii Room and Reception Room, it offers a wide selection of catering options. n contrast to the baroque adornment of the grand building´s upper floor, the medieval gothic spaces on the ground floor are calming. A number of lounges can be found here, such as Sala Terrena or Benedictine Wine Bar. This can be the place where you can feel the spirit of ancient times during your social gathering or banquet.

The coal mill (Uhelny mlyn) building dates back to the 1930’s. We can see how the coal mills present in evolving technology. Both buildings were built from bricks from the local Fischer brothers construction company, burnt from locally mined clay and are interconnected with the now inoperable underground shaft, which used to transport coal dust. With technological advancements, the previous use for the Úhelný mlýn was lost and it was retired from use and transformed into an storage building for office supplies. The fate of Úhelný mlýn was indefinitely sealed after the floods in 2002. The new age and revival of the building came when projects for its renovation came in 2010.

Considered by many to be the finest example of Art Nouveau architecture in Prague, this building is a triumph of artistic collaboration. Constructed between 1905 and 1911 the house was built to the designs of Osvald Polivka and Antonin Balsanek. The interior, which includes a number of impressive works by the world famous Czech artist Alfons Mucha, is surpassed only by the building’s lavish entrance and exterior façade. Here, the central wrought iron gate and stained glass canopy are complimented by a truly delightful mosaic entitled ‘Homage to Prague’. Building is built around Prague’s biggest concert venue – Smetana Hall, thus providing a wonderful setting for the Prague Spring Festival.

The convent areal of Prague dominicans is located between Husova, Jilsdka and Jalovcova street, in the same heart of Prague. Original roman church St. Gilles was changed to the chapter by bishops of Prague. After the Prague castle and Vysehrad this was third chapter with a significant meaning.The chapter was consecrated by Archbishop Jan Ocko on May 3rd, 1371, with the presence of King Charles IV. and his wife Eliska. The refectory can be rented for wedding ceremony or reception, with the capacity up to 80 people. Catholic ceremony can be arranged in St. Gilles church.

The origins of the Stone Bell House date, according to the latest constructional and historical researches, from the second half of the 13th century. The oldest building phase is preserved in the cellars and on the ground floor of the south wing. The second building phase followed in about 1310. The typical house sign was placed at the corner of the building in the 16th century. After 1685 and in the 18th century baroque adaptations of the building took place. Restoration was finished in 1988 and the City assigned the building to serve as the GHMP exhibiting space for its important exhibition projects.

The building of the Kaiserstein Palace is a genuine treasure of segments and details of architecture. It is one of the first top baroque Prague´s palaces and one of the noblest secular monuments of the Prague baroque. During the years 1908 through 1914 the world known Czech lady-singer Emmy Destinn was living in a part of the palace. A most grandiose reconstruction of the palace was completed in 1981. The palace was given back its original appearance.

Colloredo-Mansfeld Palace is one of the most outstanding examples of palace architecture in Prague, with a rich combination of building styles combining elements of High Baroque with subsequent Rococo and Second Rococo modifications. The Baroque building has foundations dating from the Romanesque and Gothic periods that had previously been rebuilt in the Renaissance style. The Baroque dance hall is the most splendid and probably the best preserved space in the Palace. Its decoration was completed around 1736–1737, with a ceiling mural depicting a gathering of the Olympian gods created by the mural painter Pietro Scotti and the quadraturist Giovanni Battista Zeist.

The extensive baroque campus – built from the half of the 16th century till the half of the 18th century. It was the Jesuit College. Nowadays it is a seat of the National library and the State technical library. The Astronomical Tower and Baroque library hall are making part of this campus, open to the public from 2000. The baroque hall is from the beginning of the 18th century and was built by K. I. Dienzehofer and is decorated by frescoes and portraits of the important members of the Jesuit Order. In 1775 the systematic meteorological and climatic measurement was started in the Astronomical Tower and serves to this purpose till today.

The Basilica of St Peter and St Paul is a neo-Gothic church in Vysehrad fortress in Prague. Originally founded in 1070-1080 by the Czech King Vratislav II., the Romanesque basilica suffered a fire in the year 1249 and has been rebuilt in Gothic and later in neo-Gothic style. The basilica features an impressive stone mosaic above its entry, and its twin 58 m towers can be seen atop a hill to the south from along the Vltava River in central Prague. Behind the church is located large park and Vysehrad cemetery, the final resting place of many famous Czechs. In 2003 the church was elevated to basilica by Pope John Paul II.

The Catholic church of St. Ludmila is one of the most beautiful catholic churches in Prague, located in the Vinohrady section, close to the Wenceslas’ square. It was built in Gothic revival style with a rich history and deep reverence by local residents. The structure itself is dominating in the Prague skyline, seen from the castle or nearly anywhere else with an elevated position around the city. This church is exclusive and well sought after by locals and internationals for mass and wedding ceremonies alike.
